These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website newhorizonlifecoaching.com (the “Site”) and all life-coaching and counseling services (“Services”) offered by New Horizon Life Coaching & Counseling, Inc. (“New Horizon,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By visiting the Site, scheduling an appointment, or participating in any Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept every part of the Terms, please do not use the Site or our Services.
1. Informational Purpose Only
All content on the Site—articles, videos, downloads, and session notes—is provided for general educational and motivational purposes. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Coaching differs from therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Always consult a licensed professional for clinical or emergency needs. 2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian, to receive our Services.
3. Scope of Services
Our Services include (i) addiction-recovery coaching, (ii) life-crisis and trauma support, (iii) relationship and family guidance, (iv) career and business coaching, and (v) personal-growth goal-setting. Service descriptions on the Site may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue Services for any reason consistent with law and professional ethics.
4. Scheduling, Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Sessions are by appointment only. You may cancel or reschedule any session with 24 hours’ notice at no charge. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be billed at the full session rate, except where prohibited by your insurance plan or applicable law.
5. Fees, Insurance & Payment
Pricing: Current fee schedules are available on request and may change with 30 days’ notice.
Insurance: We can bill most major U.S. carriers; coverage is subject to verification and your plan’s terms. You remain responsible for any copay, deductible, or uncovered amount.
Payment Plans & Pro Bono: Flexible plans and limited pro-bono spots are available; talk with us in advance.
Due Date: Self-pay balances are due at or before each session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Confidentiality & Limits
We maintain HIPAA-compliant records and protect your privacy in accordance with U.S. law. Confidentiality may be broken only when (a) you give written permission, (b) disclosure is required by court order, or (c) we believe you pose an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or we suspect abuse or neglect of a minor, elder, or vulnerable adult.
7. Results Disclaimer
Your progress depends on many personal factors, including motivation, consistency, and external circumstances. We make no guarantees of specific outcomes and are not liable for decisions you make based on coaching discussions or Site content.
8. Intellectual-Property Rights
All text, graphics, logos, and other content on the Site are the property of New Horizon or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international copyright law. You may download or print materials for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other reproduction, distribution, or modification requires prior written consent.
9. Digital Communications
Email, text, and video conferencing carry inherent security risks. While we use industry-standard encryption and secure portals, you acknowledge these methods may not be 100 % secure and consent to their use for scheduling, reminders, and session delivery.

The Site may link to external websites for your convenience. We do not control, endorse, or assume liability for content or policies on third-party sites.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, New Horizon, its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the Site or Services—even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall never exceed the amount you paid for Services in the preceding six months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless New Horizon and its representatives from any claim, demand, or damage (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site or Services.
13. Modifications to Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Murray County, Georgia, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and New Horizon regarding the Site and Services, superseding any prior oral or written agreements.
